Trained in green-screen extraction, rotoscoping, tracking, color correction, painting, background replacement, lighting, and film editing in Shake, Nuke and Flame.
Compositied 3-D furry chipmunks and other 3-D elements. Added shadows, grain, and color corrections. Problem solved compositing issues. Matched 3-D elements to live background. Pulled green screen mattes and placed actress into live action plates. Matched grain and color, also removed markers from scenes. Created speed ramps for certain shots. Haven (Nuke)

Rotoscoping and marker removal for Pirates of the Caribbean 3 including rendering out motion blur mattes, assisting lead rotoschope artist and compositors. Managed a six scan shot for one of the largest scenes in the film with a crew of six artists. Included assembling team’s mattes, checking work, applying motion blur and communicated with sequence compositor from start to finish. (Nuke, Combustion)
Composited for short film exhibits in the Las Vegas Springs Preserve on Garbage Truck and Desert Life Cycle. Made complicated mattes from green screens. Replaced backgrounds and made simplified “cartoon” qualities to actors as a treatment techinique. Composited in 3-D elements. (Digital Fusion)
Composited for a short called Sheep. Made complicated keys from DV footage. Combined 3-D and 2-D elements, created the look of the spaceship beam. Made sheep dissolve through expressions. Color corrected overall footage and applied grain to 3-D elements.
Rotoscoped and tracked soldiers, ships, ridges, buildings, etc. for Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima at Digital Domain. Managed shots and assisted lead rotoscope artist in assembling shots. Assisted compositors with published mattes and rotos. Applied motion blur to mattes. (Nuke, Combustion)
Composited scenes for the movie The Slaughter at Production HQ. Rotoscoped and composited in actors on a staircase shaking individually from one another and from the staircase. (Shake)
Composited images for Victoria Vives’s music video Fuego through Production HQ. Responsibilities included rotoscoping, keying, developing a video game selection screen, color correcting, and
compositing fire and glow elements for the video. (Shake)
Designed ads, brochures, company reports and other various media items for Neely/Dales LLC using In Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
